KEIR STARMER IS FINISHED SAYS BBC STAR

BBC Radio host Lee Harris sharply criticized Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer following a chaotic press conference in North West England on May 30, where Starmer referenced Nigel Farage 16 times. Described as a "PR disaster of biblical proportions," the Labour leader faced accusations of attacking Reform UK excessively.

During the Sky News-broadcast event, journalists challenged Starmer. A BBC reporter asked, "Your popularity's decline is historically unprecedented. Isn’t this speech an admission you’ve failed, and Nigel Farage connects better with voters?" A Guardian journalist added, "Farage speaks like a human, while you stick to talking points and evade questions." A GB News reporter pressed, "Farage has five MPs to your 403—are you panicking because Reform is ahead in polls? He’s a public school-educated ex-trader, yet seems closer to the red wall than you, despite your working-class roots."

Starmer defended himself, stating, "I know what it’s like to work long factory hours—my dad did it every day. I don’t need lessons from Farage on working people’s issues." On accusations of relying on talking points, he said, "I roll up my sleeves, tackle challenges, and focus on fixing things for working people."

Addressing the Jaguar Land Rover tariff dispute with Donald Trump, Starmer accused Farage of wanting the company "to go bust," challenging him to face JLR workers and justify his stance. He added, "I make decisions with JLR workers in mind, having met them and understood their jobs, skills, and community impact."

However, Harris and GB News remained unimpressed, with Harris tweeting, "This press conference was catastrophic for Starmer—a PR disaster of biblical proportions. He’s finished. It’s only a matter of time."
